Volunteer Opportunities

Do you have an hour or two to spare to help an older adult in our community? Our volunteers consistently say that they receive more than they give.

It is so easy to volunteer for Ark Valley Helping Hands! You only need to complete 6 requests per year, and there is no set schedule.

The first step is to complete the volunteer application, which is available in the VOLUNTEERS INFO section. Email your completed application to [email protected] or mail to AVHH C/O Central Colorado Area Agency on Aging attn: Sabrina Porter, 6266 Cleora Road, Salida, Colorado 81201.

If you don't have time to be a regular, ongoing volunteer, consider participating in our Seasonal Service program!

Fall Service Day opportunities will include outdoor debris cleanup on small properties, leaf raking, exterior window cleaning, and trash loading/hauling. Dates Pending.
