Volunteer Opportunities

Do you have an hour or two to spare to help an older adult in our community? Our volunteers consistently say that they receive more than they give.

It is so easy to volunteer for Ark Valley Helping Hands! You only need to complete six requests per year, and there is no set schedule.

The first step is to complete the volunteer application, which is available in the VOLUNTEERS INFO section. Email your completed application to [email protected] or mail to PO Box 1426, Salida, CO 81201.

If you don't have time to be a regular, ongoing volunteer, consider participating in our Seasonal Service program!

Our next event—Fall Service Day—will take place in October 2022. Date TBA.
Fall Service Day opportunities will include outdoor debris cleanup on small properties, leaf raking, exterior window cleaning, and trash loading/hauling.
